    La iglesia de Santa Mar\u00eda desempe\u00f1a un papel fundamental en la vida de la regi\u00f3n y es un verdadero pilar de la identidad mariense y de Dota. Su imponente presencia se percibe desde todos los puntos del valle y, por s\u00ed sola, impresiona a quienes ingresan por primera vez en la zona: es lo primero que se ve al llegar a Santa Mar\u00eda.<\/p>

    La Virgen de la Cueva Santa, patrona del pueblo, es un s\u00edmbolo profundamente arraigado en la comunidad. Para el sacerdote Alb\u00e1n, tanto el santuario como la regi\u00f3n y su gente tienen un significado muy especial. Aqu\u00ed, se\u00f1ala, las personas son cercanas, fieles, amables y generosas al momento de servir a los dem\u00e1s.<\/p>

    Tambi\u00e9n destaca la belleza natural, la tranquilidad y los paisajes extraordinarios que rodean la zona, as\u00ed como la seguridad que caracteriza a Dota, considerada una de las regiones m\u00e1s seguras del pa\u00eds.<\/p>

    Lo que m\u00e1s disfruta de su labor como sacerdote es estar cerca de la gente, compartir con la comunidad, ser accesible y tener tiempo para todos.
